Inquiry-Based Science: How Do I Get Started?
Are you not a "science person?" Do you find yourself skipping over science because you don't feel comfortable teaching it? Have you hoped for an opportunity to increase your repertoire of hands-on lessons that are fun for your students as well as meaningful learning experiences?
Join our virtual seminars and have fun with science!
You will learn strategies for:
  • using an inquiry approach to teaching science.
  • using really cool hands-on activities in your classroom.
  • managing materials AND excitement in your classroom during hands-on investigations.
  • sharing your students' discoveries on the web with the other GALAXY kids.
These seminars are live events that are FREE to all educators. You will have a chance to communicate with other participants and GALAXY curriculum support staff.
