The Literature Connection
In every GALAXY teacher guide, we have provided an extensive list of cross-curricular connections you can use with your students to enhance and reinforce a particular theme. From math to physical education to language arts, there are a number of ways you can carry one GALAXY theme into many areas of your teaching.
Language Arts is a particular favorite for the GALAXY curriculum. The GALAXY literature suggestions were selected on the basis of relevant themes, varied and authentic cultural perspectives, aesthetic language, artistic excellence, and compelling content.
